Welcome to my personal webpage

My name is Abdul Hair and I work as a lecturer at the Department of Communication Studies, Brawijaya University, Indonesia. I hold an M.A. in Media and Cultural Studies from Gadjah Mada University and a B.A. in Communication Studies from Brawijaya University, which I obtained in 2017 and 2014, respectively. My areas of teaching and research interest include pop culture, digital media, media history, postcolonial/decolonial approaches, and intellectual trajectory. I am currently conducting a research project on the history of Indonesian diasporic media, from the colonial to the postcolonial period.
